Overview of East Asian Liberal Arts

Across East Asia, there is a surge of interest in liberal arts, where the creativity and initiative developed in students within the liberal arts curriculum is seen as an ideal preparation for inventors and leaders in the rapidly changing 21st century world.

This alphabetical listing by country shows locations within East Asia of liberal arts institutions, both as free-standing liberal arts Colleges, and as programs within larger universities. Many of these institutions will join us at Yale-NUS in our conferences and celebrations in 2015-2016 as we dedicate our new campus and enter our third year of operation. An interactive map of East Asian Liberal Arts Colleges and Programs is also below. You can zoom in to the various sites, and jump to links to their web sites.
